Beating Bowel Cancer's London Patient Day

On Saturday 16th April, Live Better With were proud to be able to partake in Beating Bowel Cancer's London Patient Day. The day consisted of 300 patients and leading cancer experts attending a wonderful day in the Royal College of Surgeons. Throughout the day there were various talks and meetings which covered a variety of topics from help for carers to new therapies available and even a session on mindfulness. We were given a table in the hall, where we presented some of our best selling products and were over the moon by how many of you we were able to talk to.

The day was fantastically run and we would like to say a huge thank you to Beating Bowel Cancer for inviting us along. The aim of the Patient Day was to help people living with Bowel Cancer and to give them access to more information about the disease and how best to help with living with it.

One point of the day which stood out was the Hidden Heartache campaign, which aimed to increase awareness about the facilities and help available to friends, families and carers of those living with cancer. Have a look at the campaign here.
