Aidapt Deluxe Motorised Pedal Exerciser
To help people live better with cancer, we donate $1,000 to the American Cancer Society every month.
"I have lymphedema in both legs, and as such am subjected to compression bandages from the toes to the knee. I can hardly walk across the room, let alone into another room or up stairs. To this end, most of my days are either lying in bed or sitting up in a chair. I do force myself to walk (with hand rails and walking aids) as much as possible, but for the most part, my legs were not getting the use that would maintain the muscles within them. Doctors suggested a full sized exercise bike, but I found just trying to get on one, very very difficult, as you need to rely on one leg holding your entire weight while seating yourself onto the saddle. I then saw this product where I could sit in on a more comfortable chair with back support, and cycle away with relative ease. On the first day I could not believe that I had done 30 minutes, while sitting in front of the TV."
