    Amazing

I developed eczema on & around my eyelids , which was stinging & raw ... tried everything , even hydrocortisone cream ( which you Shouldn't use around the eyes ) !!! Plus natural remedies.. Nothing eased the annoying rash , plus it looked unsightly too ... This cream was magic !!! Stopped the itch , & reduced the redness , also moisturised the dry skin too ... would highly recommend...

    Effective and easy

My Dad used to use this for dermatitis but I hadn't realized how effective it was. Very good on my swollen legs (from chemotherapy) which get quite itchy. Also for the dermatitis on my scalp which is accessible to treatment now I don't have any hair to speak of!

    E45 Itch Relief Cream

It does what it says on the box, relieves skin from itching, but it can take a while to 'kick in', and the effects can be short lived, so re-application is often needed. It works though, which is the main point. It won't cure the problem that is causing the itching - it is simply relief from the pain and discomfort associated with it. It is a thick cream, perfume free, not strong smelling and doesn't discolour or affect clothing in any way. Comes in a metal tube, and compared to other itch relief creams, I have found it to be quite mild, so will be suitable for very delicate skin or young children. Something worth noting though is there can be a hot burning feeling after applying it to very raw skin; this doesn't harm the skin afterwards but can be uncomfortable on application. This product is probably better for the itchiness related to dry skin, and not the itchiness involved in viral infections and other causes. For that, i'd reccommend good old fashioned Calamine lotion - the zinc oxide will help neutralise the infection and provide better relief for things such as chicken pox and chemical-induced rashes.

At last, itch relief that works

Gentle moisturising cream that takes off the itches - well that is how it was advertised. So I gave it a go as hubby often has those dry skin itchy areas. And do you know what? It worked! He has instant itch-relief and the e45 moisturises the affected area so that the dry skin issue is sorted at the same time. I've tried this after a bit of prickly heat - it worked - and after contacting something that made ME itch on the arms - again, it worked. Highly reccomended, and I store mine in the fridge for that extra bit of AHHHHH relief
