About RealFoodSource Whole Natural Dark Chia Seeds - 1Kg

Irregular bowel function is often a side effect for people living with cancer. RealFoodSource Whole Natural Dark Chia Seeds offer an amazing solution, as they both help digestive function and also cleanse the bowel. Chia seeds are tiny seeds which are a member of the mint family. They are entirely neutral tasting and, when soaked in water or other liquids, swell up and absorb up to 9 times their weight in liquid. Chia seeds are excellent at helping to alleviate constipation and sluggish digestion by adding bulk and water to stools. These seeds are also high in fibre, as well as being rich in other beneficial nutrients.

What do RealFoodSource Whole Natural Dark Chia Seeds contain?

A 1 ounce (28 grams) serving of chia seeds contains:

  • Fiber: 11 grams.
  • Protein: 4 grams.
  • Fat: 9 grams (5 of which are Omega-3s).
  • Calcium: 18% of the RDA.
