Fantastic product - very easy to use and great value for money. So much less hassle with the blending being done in the drinks holder and less washing up!
I've had this for a few weeks and admittedly have only used it around ten times but so far I love it! I freeze bananas and mix them with fruit juice and fresh fruit for a really thick, delicious smoothie that gives me three portions of fruit in one go. I don't use ice in it but have used a fair bit of fruit that was frozen solid and the motor has held out nicely. Aesthetically, I love that it's so compact and sleek-looking. Its footprint is tiny, which is good as I have a very small kitchen. Most importantly, I can just chuck all the components in the washing machine and the interchangeable blades and lid is genius. I love smoothies but the fixed jug with tap style smoothie maker is just an expensive mold farm. The only drawbacks I can think of with this model are that it can be a bit loud and the blade can be a little fiddly to clean by hand, but that's par for the course with all smoothie makers. Overall this is a brilliant smoothie maker for people on the go. It's like a nutribullet but without the ludicrous price tag.
Great purchase. I have it now for a few weeks and its one of the best purchases I have made. Simply fill the bottle with your chosen ingredients , screw on the lid unit and place upside down onto the unit and away you go.The bottle attached onto the motor upside down so your chosen ingredients fall onto the blade making better smoothies, so it doesn't matter how much or little you make. Its one of the better blenders on the market. Its The bottle can be pressed and held down manually or locked into position. the unit is small and takes us very little space and has the ingenious idea of having of having little suctions so the base doesn't topple over. the mix n go blender is designed for people on the go you simply put the lid on your bottle and away you go. Another novel thing I've noticed is the lid of the bottle snaps open into place so it's not lying against your nose while you are drinking from the bottle. I've been using it most days since I got it making delicious smoothies. Popular with the kids too, simply add milk and ice cream blended together for milkshakes. its very easy to use and clean. Simply press the bottle down and it starts blending. No switches, no settings just simplicity. The cleaning is just as easy,Simply run the lid with the blades under the hot tap and rinse out your bottle and you're done. it comes with two bottles with lids. the blades and motor is strong enough to crush ice for your drinks, the manual recommends no more than 3 ice cubes. The manual contains recipes for smoothies and alcoholic cocktails. I would buy it again and for friends its a great blender. great price too.Simply Fill, Mix n Go. Simply delicious smoothies.
I have had this since the summer of 2014, and it has worked like a charm, although, does have a few pitfalls. PROS: - Bottles: You put your fruit in, attach the blade, blend, then put on the normal lid and you have got yourself a handy little bottle to drink from during the day. It also comes with two, although I only use the one, I am saving the other if my current one breaks (I can imagine a drop will crack it very easily), and I also have problems cleaning it because of the shape. - It does what it is made to do. Be a blender. CONS: - VERY NOISY: Compared to NutriBullet this is extremely loud, although, this is what you get at this price, so maybe I am being to picky. But if I had this on in the early or late hours, the neighbors would be round very quickly. - Time: If you want a very thick and well blended smoothie, your going to be here a while. You have to turn it on and off to ensure all the big parts fall to the blade, and start again. - Ice: It sometimes struggles with the ice I put in, so I recommend putting ice in first so it does not get blended first, and stop the blade from rotating.
I work in a sandwich shop, and we have gone through a number of these style machines over summer for smoothies for a number of different brands. Obviously they are not intended for as heavy use as we put them through, but in all of them after a while the blades went funny, maybe a screw was loose but they no longer worked to blend even soft fruit, never mind frozen. I was really impressed with the simple design, and so was waiting to see which smoothie maker lasted the longest/didn't break so I could buy one for myself. I went for this one because, crucially, it comes with a two year warranty. As it would appear that all of these blenders all break in the same way, having a warranty seemed pretty important. I've now had this for a week, and used it most days and am impressed. I have quite a lot of experience with these devices from my summer, and this seems to work as well as any. The price is very reasonable but as mentioned, the warranty is key. Shopping around, no other blenders of this design and in this price range seemed to offer this. Don't usually write reviews, but felt that this needed sharing, trust in the warranty!
