  1. Finally the human race has cracked the art of opening tins

    Mr. S. A. B.Friday, 19 February 2016

I'm not one to get overly excited about kitchen items, but I have to say I'm amazed at finding a tin opener that actually works. I've met lots of tin openers who claimed to work in the past. Some of them actually did work for a while, but sooner or later they'd come juddering to a halt in a mess of cheap metal spurs. This one is different in that it actually does open tins. It doesn't even matter if you're rubbish at using these things correctly (as I am) because the sheer metal churning power of the thing allows it to push on through regardless. A real trooper and a true pal. God bless 'em.

  2. Actually Works!

I have never owned an easy to use can opener until now. I have only used this twice - but the blade is sharp and you don't have to wrench it and twist it around the can to perhaps get half the lid off like the others. It is simply a doddle. Well done Oxo!!
