THEYA Fleur - Bamboo Bra - Light Support
To help people live better with cancer, we donate $1000 to the American Cancer Society every month.
I was dreading putting any bra on the day after my operation, but the THEYA bra is so soft and comfortable it doesn't feel like it's squashing anything at all. Amazingly it gives support without feeling that you are actually wearing a bra; it is as comfortable as it could possibly be considering. I am so thankful I have been able to wear one of the THEYA bras the last three weeks and felt at ease after my operation.

THEYA Fleur Light Support Bra in detail:
Wearing a bra after breast surgery doesn't have to be uncomfortable - in fact, having the right support can help you to heal and feel more 'normal' after a mastectomy, lumpectomy or reconstruction.
THEYA bras are specially designed to provide the gentle, comfortable support you need after breast surgery - and they're even stocked in some hospitals.
Each THEYA bra is made with super soft, hypoallergenic bamboo material. Bamboo is 41% more breathable than cotton, which helps to keep your skin cool and dry - even through hot flushes or sweating you might have as a side effect of treatment.
Super-soft bamboo THEYA bras are seam, label, and wire free, so your healing skin won't be irritated by the fabric of your bra. The soft shoulder straps provide support without straining or cutting into your shoulder.
Because it's designed for wearing both after surgery and during recovery, the THEYA bra features discreet pockets that can contain breast forms if you wish to wear them. The bra also has removable modesty pads in each cup, which can be worn instead of or with your breast form to give shape and smoothness.
The THEYA Fleur bra fastens at the back like a normal bra, but the straps can be removed at the front to help you remove it more easily after surgery. It's also cut high under the arm which gives support if you have had lymph node removal, and is suitable for wearing with post-surgical drains if you have them.
80% Bamboo, 12% Nylon, 6% Elastane, 2% Polyester

Having had a lumpectomy, then, unfortunately, suffering a haematoma, I was desperately searching for a good bra. I saw an advert for this through the breast cancer care magazine and this was the first bra that gave some comfort. I like the fact that it is made from bamboo, very soft material, is seam free (how do they do it?) and the size is easily adjustable. But the front fastening Theya bra is even better. It is deeper and has a wide band at the bottom which is less liable to curl up. This is expensive but I strongly recommend it, especially to those whose skin feels more sensitive after an operation.
Going into hospital for a lumpectomy, I wasn't sure what type of bra I would be able to wear after surgery. A little research later I bought this one and was so glad I did. It provides a perfect level of comfort and support. I had a drain put in and wearing this bra (both day and night) gave me more confidence and helped me to keep the drain in place. We are having a heat wave and this bra is keeping me nice and dry, which I feel is helping the healing process. I am on the cusp between Medium and Large, so I plumped for the Large size. This worked out perfectly, as I went into hospital having the bra on the tightest setting, and left post surgery with it on the loosest. This meant it was comfortable with any swelling and bruising etc. The padded part is great too, as it helps hide asymmetry from the operation, making me feel more confident. Cannot recommend this bra enough, so glad I bought it just before surgery to provide comfort. I am now buying a second one as I am literally living in this one. :) Best Wishes. Emma
It is very comfy after LD reconstruction I am going to order another !
“Theya lingerie an absolute must have for anyone not just people who have had surgery. After being diagnosed with cancer at 30 then having breast and axilla surgery I have continually struggled to find comfortable bras. They would either dig into my rib, cut into my node removal scar, trap lymphodaema or just generally look ugly. Which is not what I wanted at all. After being introduced to Theya I will never go back. The cup is comfortable and high holding without looking unpleasant. The bras are uniquely feminine and offer the support and comfort needed. I would recommend Theya lingerie to anyone even ladies who have not had surgery they are an absolute must have! I just love the bras! Victoria x"
